ABOUT THE ISA LITERATURE REVIEW SERIES

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) formed an international Science and Research Committee (SRC) “To elevate the importance of research within ISA, foster exchange among the research community and professionals, and identify important new opportunities for science and research that add value to arboriculture and urban forestry.” Early on, the committee recognized that well-grounded, comprehensive, and readily available information about the current state of scientific knowledge in arboriculture and urban forestry could accelerate the pace of research. The SRC proposed to commission a series of comprehensive literature reviews on critical subjects to begin this process. Visit the Literature Review Series at the ISA for a searchable databased and articles published to date.
